Data Deletion Instructions
You can remove your data from OmniPost at any time. This page explains exactly how to disconnect your social accounts, delete your content, and permanently delete your OmniPost account and all associated personal data.
1. Disconnect a single social account
To remove the stored access token and connection for one platform without deleting your whole account:
- Sign in to OmniPost and open the Channels page.
- Find the channel you want to remove and choose Disconnect.
- The encrypted access and refresh tokens for that account — for example your YouTube (Google), Instagram, Facebook, Threads, or TikTok connection — are deleted from our systems immediately, along with that channel's record. OmniPost can no longer publish to or read from that account.
For extra assurance, you can also revoke OmniPost from the platform's own settings — for example, Facebook & Instagram Settings → Business Integrations, your Google account's Third-party access page, or the connected-apps section of any other network.
2. Delete specific content
To remove individual posts, drafts, or scheduled items, open the Publish page, select the item, and choose Delete. Deleting a post in OmniPost removes it and its uploaded media from our storage. Note that any content already published to a social platform must be deleted on that platform directly.
3. Permanently delete your OmniPost account
You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated personal data:
- In the app: go to Settings → Account, find the Delete account section, type DELETE to confirm, and choose Delete my account. The deletion runs immediately.
- By email: if you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from your account email address to yoavx2@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account".
What gets deleted. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and login, all connected-account tokens and channel records, every post, draft, schedule, and uploaded media file, and your workspace data. This action cannot be undone.
4. Timing
Token and channel disconnections take effect immediately. Full account deletion is processed within 30 days of your verified request. We may retain a minimal amount of data for a limited period only where necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes; that residual data is then deleted.
5. Deletion via the social platform
When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account, OmniPost automatically registers a secure data-deletion endpoint with Meta. If you later remove OmniPost from a platform's connected-apps settings (for example, through a Facebook or Instagram data-deletion request), Meta notifies that endpoint and we immediately delete the corresponding stored tokens and connection data for that account — no action is required on your part. To remove the rest of your OmniPost data, use one of the methods in section 3.
