Refund Policy

Last updated · July 19, 2026

This policy explains Hive's trial, subscription cancellation, and refund process for purchases handled by Paddle.

Hive is operated by ULPI Studios. Paddle acts as merchant of record for purchases made through Paddle checkout and processes payments, applicable taxes, receipts, subscription changes, and approved refunds.

1. Fourteen-day trial

Eligible subscriptions begin with a 14-day trial. Paddle shows the trial end date, first charge, renewal interval, and amount before you confirm checkout. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Removing connected social accounts or ceasing to use Hive does not by itself cancel a subscription; cancel it through the billing portal.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Unless checkout or the billing portal says otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and access continues until that date. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a charge already processed.

3. Refund requests

If you believe a charge was made in error, the Service was materially unavailable, or another exceptional circumstance applies, contact us within 14 days of the charge at yoavx2@gmail.com. Include the account email, Paddle transaction or receipt number, charge date, and reason for the request. Do not send full card or bank details.

We review requests individually based on account history, use of the Service, the reason given, and applicable law. Approval is not automatic except where required by law. If approved, Paddle returns funds to the original payment method; bank and card-network processing times may delay when the credit appears.

4. Renewal charges and plan changes

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval selected at checkout until cancelled. A forgotten cancellation does not guarantee a refund, but you may submit a request under section 3. Any price, tax, credit, or proration shown by Paddle when you change a plan is presented for confirmation before the change is completed.

5. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or remedy rights that apply where you live. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory law, that law controls.

6. Charge disputes

Please contact us first so we can investigate promptly. This does not limit your right to contact Paddle, your bank, card issuer, or another payment provider. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to suspension while the payment is investigated.
